Morden Family Funday (MFD) first appeared in 2014 at the Morden Park Playing Fields, Morden as a community fundraiser sponsored by the Rotary Club of Morden.

The club soon realised that even after that first year, MFD would soon become too big for a small Rotary club to manage. The management for MFD, formerly set up by then Morden Rotary Vice President John Harris passed on to John and his friend, Andy Butcher as an independent organisation in its own right.

Morden Rotary has always kept its hand in, offering volunteers and setting up its own fundraising stall.

And so, Morden Family Funday continues to this day as the premier annual community event in Morden.
